Argosy International adopts a business philosophy and approach inspired
by its founder, Richard Yocum. Richard formed the Argosy consulting practice
in 1998, delivering results-oriented services in strategic planning,
executive coaching, change management, team building, and meeting design
and facilitation.
Richard Yocum is one of the founders of Revere Bank,
the growing Maryland-chartered community bank which serves small to
mid-size businesses in Maryland, DC and Virginia. He is also a founding
partner of Owner Transitions, LLC, which provides transition services to business owners and their companies.
Richard's commitment to the success of his clients has empowered hundreds
of senior executives to focus on their priorities, confront key business
issues, surface blind spots, and accelerate profitability and growth.
As a nationally-respected expert in organizational development and executive
coaching, Richard Yocum consults to organizations that vary widely in
scale, culture, and complexity.
His personal style of guiding clients to organizational effectiveness
is mirrored in each talented member of the Argosy team, which is selectively
assembled for each assignment.
Richard earned his master's degree in organization development from
The American University and performed his doctoral work at the Fielding
Institute. His credentials also include his seven-year tenure as Chairman
with TEC Worldwide (Vistage).
